When you register an account on the Website we will ask for your name, your e-mail address, and when applicable, your address and billing address.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

We may entrust the information you provide with third party business partners such as component manufacturers, authorized distributors and fulfillment partners to assist us in providing products, information, services or promotions to you, or to manage and improve the Website and database.  For example, if you download a manufacturer X part , we may provide your information to manufacturer X.  Except as outlined in this policy or on the Website, we will not give or sell your personal information to third parties (except in aggregate form: i.e. “50% of visitors to our website…”) without your consent.  We will only use your personal information in the way we specified when it was collected.  We will not subsequently change the way your personal information is used without your consent.  In special cases, we may need to share information without acquiring consent, such as where required by law.

Use of the Website

You may not use any robot or other automated means to access or gather content from the Website.  You will not use the Website in any manner that violates any applicable laws or regulations or misappropriates the intellectual property of or interferes with the lawful rights of third parties.  You may not take any action that imposes in our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionally large load on the Website’s infrastructure or interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website.  We may prohibit or limit your use of the Website at any time in our discretion.

Commerce and Ordering Information

If you are using a secure server to buy something, we will also ask for your credit card number and expiration date.  This information will be used only for the limited purpose of processing your orders.  We do not save your credit card information.  We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the industry standard, for encrypting all personal information including name, address, and credit card numbers.
